  • BE PREPARED TO TRAVEL:   we don't bring animals to you, you must be prepared to visit, either our rescue at Egremont, or Carlisle, depending on where the animal is you wish to Adopt.

Surrendering an animal

We know sometimes circumstances change, often beyond our control. We are non Judgemental when it comes to surrender.

If you require a rescue space for your animal, please contact us via the contacts page, giving us as much details as possible about the animal, the circumstances of surrender (we don't need to know personal reasons, just if its an issue with the animal)  Please be as honest as you can, as this helps the animal in the long term.  its preferred for small furries that they are surrendered in their usual cages as this can help reduce the stress of moving and being placed in unfarmiliar surroundings.

on occasions, we can offer a home to home adoption, where the animal stays with you, until a home can be found, if circumstances allow that.

A donation when surrendering an animal is greatly appreciated, all donations go towards the health and care of all the animals in our care

Animals and Bereavement

Providing a safe place for your small furries after your passing

One of the questions we get asked a lot, is, can you take my animals after i pass away. The answer to that is Yes.  when you write your will, you should be making provisions for any animals you have in your care.  We can be named in that as a provider of care for your small furries, to come into our care to be rehomed.  A small legacy would be appreciated, but is absolutely not necessary
